Judith sees the light

Diane-Blair Goodpasture, “Judith and Holofernes,” 2010, stained glass,

A homey touch.  A stained glass work of art suitable to hang in your home when you want the cathedral atmosphere.  Goodpasture gives us Judith with a two lovely elements of attire.  A bejeweled head-cover hairnet and a gleaming white gown with abstract maroon patterning.

Or is it?

Not to worry: she has the all-seeing eye of God, and the Hebrew letter ‘yod’ (symbolic of the name of God) to back her up.  And help with stain removal.
