“Judith beheading Holofernes”

The Albright-Knox Art Gallery is dedicated to enhancing the understanding and appreciation of contemporary and modern art in Buffalo, NY.

As a hub of artistic and cultural energies, it strives to be an inspiring educational resource for all audiences.

At the annual staff show, the hidden talents of the people who work behind the scenes at the Albright-Knox are discovered, as artists come out of the woodwork.

The exhibition of 2011 showcased work created by diversely skilled staff members, including accountants, educators, security guards, curators, and more.

Including this curious re-creation of Gentileschi’s composition – using figures crocheted of yarn.
