Up there with “the Trionfo della vergine” (Virgin’s triumph), “the Incoronazione” (Coronation) and “the Gloria degli Angeli e dei Santi” (Glory of Angels and of Saints) is “Giuditta e Oloferne” (Judith and Holofernes).   Riding on a dark cloud, preceded by a cherubic angel, holding a sword in her right hand – and Holofernes’ head in her left hand.   The equally murderous Jael is opposite her on the right.

Looks to me like she is being considered for sainthood.  Can they do that to a Jewess?
